- You remember CTF games on Boarding Action. - You hated Shotgun Slayer on Longest. - You have fond memories of the battles uphill on Death Island. - You've gotten OUT of Death Island. - You remember sniping from the top of Sidewinder, the original Avalanche. - You remember how assault rifles are supposed to fire. - The pistol was your best friend. - Fuel rods were an everyday occurrence in multiplayer. - You remember the original Rat's Nest aka Hang 'Em High. - You somehow managed to get kills off people without a target-locking rocket launcher, splazer, or boarding action. - You've sniped out tanks from the Banshee spawn on Death Island. - You've superbounced out of Turf and gotten kills. - You could do the Relic superbounces. - Coagulation was a wannabe Blood Gulch. - Blood Gulch is epic. Don't ever deny it. - Waterworks was a plain bitch, and meant for n00bs to play on.
And so on.
Yes, I've done all these. Plus battled my way through the Halo 2 maps SEVERAL times. Dun gimme the "n00b" shit!
The pistol was my best friend. But then they took its awesome zoom. ;-;
I remember when I first learned if it's greatness~ My brother was teaching me to play Halo and proceeded to own the level I was stuck on with just the pistol. I never got rid of it again after that.
I loved superbouncing in Halo 2 to piss people off and Halo 1 was... mmm... where the worst you had to deal with was being pinned down behind a rock, getting shot at by a tank and KNOWING you could make it.

I've had the honor of playing Blood Gulch where one cuntwad would drive circles around the bases in a Warthog and splatter people the instant they spawned.
About the only things I miss from the original game are that the shotgun didn't have to be pointblank to kill someone, and the 60-round, 660 maximum carrying capacity magazine for the MA5B Assault Rifle was damn sexy.
