I’m de-lurking from Ninja Land (aka my hiatus) long enough to write up something for my deviantfriends and family (yes, I do consider some of you to be equal to a little brother or sister sometimes.)


Tiff –
I’ve known you the longest and I have never regretted one second of knowing you. You’ve been a little perk-up in my life when I needed it the most, and you gave me some of the earliest fangirl nosebleeds ever. I may say “glomp” or whatever over IM, but one of these days, I swear, I’ma do it to you in real life. (And I may not let go.)

Madison –
To be honest, when we first met up, I wasn’t quite sure how to take your… quirks either. Or the early bedtimes (I don’t have a job yet so any bedtime before 5 AM baffles me yet.) All I knew was that this… girl, this young woman was a Chief fangirl too and she was to be valued because, at the time, there were so few of us lurking around deviantART. Oh, and you’re the only one to date who can still whoop my sorry blue ass with a shotgun in Halo 3. And I’ve never known a girl who wanted pet Lekgolo, EVER…

Terra/Tom –
I’ve never known a Brit quite like you, and God, I love it. I normally tend to try and keep my distance from male Halo players or a guy who plays any video game for that matter cuz they always turn and bite me in the face (not the arse) after a while. You’ve never done that. And I really appreciate that, I appreciate that you’ve been there to laugh with in matchmaking and when we’re simply mucking about in campaign. (Especially when you did that voice that one night through “The Ark.” Good Lord, I thought I was going to die laughing.) You say you just want the attention or the bond like Kitty and I have, or just to be included in something like that, and Terra… you are. I’d be lost for a while if you ever just upped and left for good.

Dama –
You… are a crazy fool when you let yourself be. You’re another one of those British friends that make me go “How the crap did I befriend this one?” and laugh at the same time. Like with Terra, I swear… the day God made Britain, he set the “personality generator” (lolmadeupplz) to “Random.” I’ve probably known you the least amount of time actively but, I wouldn’t mind getting to know you more. Y’know, on a friend basis, before anyone goes and perverts this.

Winona/Dragonfurry –
You, dear child, frighten me. And make me a little jealous about the whole horse riding. I miss being able to talk to you regularly, even though sometimes I’d just listen, or we’d go off on the headsets in a game about something completely random. I miss it.

Gage/Sane Intolerant –
You were one of the first people I met on deviantART and, I think, the second to add me on XBL. You’ve seen me n00b around in those early days and quite clearly fuck up real good over something. Y’know last night’s conversation? I’m not too worried about the subject everyone was kidding you about with your girlfriend, I’m more concerned that it’s gonna be quite the opposite where you get hurt instead for some reason. Because I do care about you, maybe like a younger sibling sometimes, I’ll admit.  I value our friendship, and I’d really hate to lose it over something trival. (Besides, who else would give me crap about having typed a “me and Drac” instead of “Drac and I”? XD)

Khorne/Sally/Squibbles –
Dude, I gotta hand it to you. You take a lotta shit but, for all the nicknames (including Sally), you’re a good sport about it. I’ll admit, sometimes, I don’t know when to stop about the Halo nicknames because no one else has really ever given me the courtesy so, here you have it in plain writing… I’m sorry if it’s ever hurt you badly and I’ll try to stop if it has.  I haven’t known anyone else who could make me plain facepalm in real life behind the 360 controller or have to mute the mike as much as I do to keep from deafening everyone with laughter. I love ya, man, I really do.

Narutoandpokemon12/Yonubu –
… I hate to say it but I think I misspelled that. Lol, oh well. You’re one of my two youngest Halo buddies and, despite your deafening qualities sometimes that get a little annoying (and the “You’re lagging, BlacFyre” when your connection’s crap), you bring back that innocent edge to Halo playing. If you keep it down, and I’m told I gotta go, I near cling to the 360 cuz I’m having fun playing H3 with you and some friends. I don’t know you that well on dA, other than to say this… I may not like Naruto, but I loved Pokemon. It’s neat knowing that anime didn’t go out with my generation growing up and being able to share something like that with someone younger.  You’re a sweet girl, don’t ever lose that.

Welcometomyhell666/Joey –
Another guy I don’t know that much about other than you’re one of Kitty’s little go-getters and, from what I can tell, quite possibly as insane as she is, thanks in part to her corruption, er, training. From what I can tell, you’re another one of those increasingly rare sweet boys that wasn’t either meant for this era or wasn’t meant to be born in this country.  You can be far too sweet to be a typical teenaged American boy sometimes.

Scorch289 –
You, sir, ARE crazy. I know that for a fact. You’re the only person I know who can annoy the shit outta me than turn around and make me laugh my ass off by imitating Obi-Wan over the XBL headsets. (You sound EXACTLY like him when you do it too on XBL.) I miss mucking around in custom games with ya and just being able to talk, without the repetitive typing. X.x

SooperNoobie –
Like Scorch, you’re completely nutters. I haven’t gotten to know you that well on either XBL or dA, but honestly, I’m not sure I could handle the insanity!

TriggerHappy/Spartan-301 –
Another deviant friend that I don’t know that well but someone I know well enough to get a laugh with most of the time. Other times, you tend to worry me about what I do to you or around you. Not sure what brought that on either. I miss you lurking about my custom games.


And last but not least…

DraconicDreams/Kitteh –
You’ve become the other half of my personality, my soul and my life. You’ve been there for me when all others either have gone or can’t help. You’ve dealt with my rantings, ravings and pissy moments before PMS (promptly returned though XD) and you’ve made me giggle over Star Wars slash. I’ve taken to calling you my “e-girlfriend” on other websites, though I doubt it’s gonna progress to something like that.  We’ve laughed, we’ve cried and we’ve clung to each other through tough times and when little nameless n00bs have tried ripping our friendship apart.

We’ve made boys cry on Xbox Live and enjoyed it. I’ll never forget the time that you had that one on Last Resort nearly in tears, while I was across the map, double over laughing.  I love plotting about with you to make the other fangirls splee over the Chief, because, frankly, the more the merrier. And I love role-playing Halo with you, even though, I’m starting to worry about our resident Flood!Spartan…

You’re honestly my soulmate, the other part of me. And I pray that the guy I wind up marrying is able to live up to this standard! XD Just remember, I love ya and nothing is ever going to change that. You’re stuck with me!
